Pink Posh Maternity: Joanie and Warren

I got a little wedding break this weekend and ended up spending part of my Sunday afternoon with Joanie and Warren. Joanie and Warren is expecting the next biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I met them at their home for a very low key maternity shoot where the game was on tv, their three wonderful dogs were lazing around - and we just went from room to room as we look for the perfect spot for pictures. Joanie and Warren already had Coco's nursery (that's the baby's name!!! Soooo cute!) already decked out in pastels with the loveliest pink chandelier (lucky girl!). Joanie and Warren, thank you for inviting me into your beautiful home..and enjoy your little baby girl :)

09.28.2007: Rick and Jenny

Congratulations to Rick and Jenny!! They will be getting married next May and I met up with them downtown on Friday for their e-session. We ended up lucking out when we found out the hotel was getting ready for an outdoor engagement party, so we totally got to snag some loungy outdoor pictures. We then walked around downtown with (of course) no destination in mind - while looking for alleys and dirty doorways. Well, no luck with any alleys I wanted to use or doorways, but we did find really cool walls and even saw a girl biking with a dress on. Hmm. AND, while paying for parking, the cashier asked if I was at the hotel for an event....and I told him I shot an engagement. I guess he assumed I meant the engagement party (but I didn't correct him and I got event rate for parking!! Yay!!) Anyways, Rick and Jenny, thanks for a great Friday and see you guys in May!! :)

09.22.2007: Piper and Tony

Ceremony: Riverbend - Smith Family Chapel
Venue: The Driskill

Hair & Makeup: Hues by Heather
Design and Decor: Eclectic Homes
Videographer: Joe Simon Productions
THE YUMMIEST PIZZA CAFE IN AUSTIN!: Mangieri's Pizza Cafe
Piper and Tony finally took a day off from work this past Saturday to get married! The morning started at the Driskill (where the girls stayed in the evening before in the Cattle Baron's Suite) and had hair/makeup done in the Governor's Boardroom. I heart Piper and her girls!!! I seriously had a blast with them (especially singing to the emmy award winning song ft. JT - yes, it is THE scandalous song - and Katie, you totally rocked the moves!!!) Exactly at 3:00pm the Hummer limo took us to Riverbend Church where Tony and Piper (both with funny tummy) exchanged vows and roses in a beautiful ceremony. And then, we jumped back into the Hummer limo and went back downtown to The Driskill - where the girls serenaded Tony all the way there. Before heading up to the reception, the couple and I (plus Joe Simon) took them to the alley across the street for some pictures...Piper was soooo awesome - going along with this even though she was not feeling well at all - and plus I took her to an alley filled with big dumpsters. (SORRY!!!! YOU SO ROCKED!) So onto the notables of the day: 1) Armpit hair extensions. Okay. I can't believe I just typed that. Use your imagination people. 2.) A Pink Posh first - the bride being escorted down the aisle by her father and stepfather. 3.) Gorgeous, phenom reception decor all done by the bride's brother. 3.) Memphis Train Revue 4.) Getting licked. (Wedding photography is a hazardous job) :oP 5.) And finally. One word. CRAZY. Interpret that how you like :oP. Piper+Tony, congratulations!!! It was awesome, amazing, and everything in between. Almost as good as the Anacardio pizza. Seriously, I think you guys need to rename that pizza to Pink Posh. (Stalkers, if you haven't tried their pizzas - you NEED to go and have a taste. SCRUMPTIOUS!) Oh, P.S. - Jack, don't think I forgot that you said you would deliver the pizza all the way up to Round Rock for me!! :oP (~Mariae, Vince and Paul)
