Pink Posh Brides: Audrey (Take 2!)

A week ago, I posted ONE picture of Audrey through some broken glass - in an attempt to hide the wedding dress from Keith. They're married now, so I can now post some images that includes the dress - and no, this was not a Trash session. Merely what has now become a typical Pink Posh Bridal session. There were no harm to the dress - in fact, on the wedding day - the dress was practically new - until we shot around the capital - and for whatever reason the dress became dirtier in that 1 hour session than it did all day during the bridal session! Pink Posh brides (who haven't had their bridals yet) - don't fret if this isn't your cup of tea. If you want more traditional bridal images - I'm down with that. :) But if you want to experiment, please, please let me know. I have tons of ideas I am dying to try out :))

10.28.2007: The Stalkers Session

EARLY Sunday morning, I had my first Pink Posh stalkers session! What a treat! You know, there's blog stalkers - then there are blog STALKERS. I love that these girls follow the blog so religiously that they wanted to be a part of it too! :) And they told me to completely HONEST in the blog and just write what I wanted. Okay...here goes. So, I'm first place in my Fantasy Football League (if you remember, I'm the only girl team in that league) - my QB is Brady - and I don't care that his coach never benches him if they are already up by six scores. I love racking up fantasy points :) Yes, I know that when the girls told me I could be honest and write what I wanted - they didn't mean football. But what can I say - I had the best time on this shoot! It's always fun to hang out with people who compliments you all day (yes, you can tell me more! j/k!). But really, they made it so easy for me - letting me just move them however which way - standing in their poses for long minutes - as I sat there and think - only to reposition them again. They endured whistlings, catcalls, and even complete strangers taking pictures of them on their camera phone. And at the end of the shoot - one girl even made a grand exit :) We won't name names or what kind of exit she made...:) Stalkers, I'm still looking through my thesaurus to find the right adjectives for you girls - but really, a girl couldn't be luckier to have such fabulous stalkers :)

10.27.2007: Audrey and Keith

Ceremony: St. Mary's Catholic Church

Venue: Austin Club
For Halloween weekend, I decided I was going to go as a wedding photographer. Good thing Audrey and Keith decided they wanted to play along and dress up as the bride and groom. :) Well, Audrey and Keith decided that for the sake of pictures (since they were having an evening wedding) they would do a "first look" and go for daytime pictures before the ceremony around downtown! I LOVE first looks - and I love getting an entire hour with the bride and groom for pictures even MORE! But wait! Audrey and Keith even scheduled 30 minutes for wedding party pictures - preceremony - and everyone showed! I know, I got spoiled this Saturday. I mean really, really spoiled. Audrey looked absolutely lovely in Vera and Stuart Weitzmans! Oh!!! So as you know, I typically give the bride's wedding shoes their own little mini-photoshoot on the wedding day - if time permits. So, on Saturday after the wedding - while we headed downtown for an aftershoot with ghosts and goblins and Power Rangers - Keith asked me to take pictures of his shoes. I looked down at his shoes and saw what I thought were standard black leather dress shoes - and said "Sure" - but what I was really thinking was - "hmmm...weird." Well, turns out that the shoes Keith was wearing belonged to his grandfather who purchased the pair of shoes 59 years ago for his wedding. Keith's dad also wore the same pair of shoes at his wedding!! How wonderful is that?? (Sounds like a plot to a movie right? Keith, you might want to tell Bobby to start working on a treatment for that...) Audrey and Keith, I'm going to have to agree with you guys - it really was a wonderful wedding. But I think any of your guests can tell you that it was the couple that made it all so wonderful. :) Enjoy your honeymoon in Costa Rica!! (~Mariae & Vince)
