12.27.2007: Justin and Melissa

Congratulations to Justin and Melissa :) They are having a destination wedding in AUSTIN and I'm invited :) I met up with Justin and Melissa on Thursday after Christmas for their e-session. There was a accident on the 45 on the way to the park and they were sooo patient waiting for me while I tried to navigate through it! When I finally made my way there, I was graced with beautiful cloudy skies (it was 1:30pm after all!) and we got a start on the pictures immediately. So, the very first thing I noticed when I started shooting was that Justin is TALL which made Melissa absolutely teeny tiny next to him. Which meant they made the cutest couple ever! Even cuter than the other couple who was also at the park for their e-session. Anyways, I know Justin and Melissa wondered if they even had ONE decent picture of themselves during the entire shoot - and well I definitely think we did better than just one this time! :) Justin and Melissa - see you guys in Austin!! :)

12.16.2007: Ivonne and Mahesh

Ceremony: Bella Terraza
Venue: Bella Terraza
On Sunday evening (during my fantasy football playoff game), Ivonne and Mahesh tied the knot a second time - to each other. They were just married a few weeks earlier in India and this was their "local" ceremony. Can you imagine planning two weddings. Wait, let me clarify. Can you imagine planning one wedding out of the state and one wedding out of the country. The bride lives in California and she threw two weddings all within a one month time span. They're nuts right??? But their wedding was beautiful. It was to be an outdoor candlelit ceremony - but do you guys remember how cold it was on Sunday night? Yeah. It got moved indoors. (YAY for not having to freeze!!) So..onto my notables. :) Ivonne's dancing shoes. She practiced the first dance in them...and apparently can only dance in those shoes. (I was just like that when I learned to drive!!!) Ivonne and Mahesh absolutely giddy about having all their college friends around. They told me it was just like a mini-reunion! The groom's mom and Black Eye Peas. Yes, she rocked it! Dirty exit car. :oP Ivonne and Mahesh - congratulations on your second marriage to each other :o). [By the way, for those of you following my FFL adventure - I advanced to the last round of the playoffs - even though Brady only scored 4 fantasy points on Sunday. I just wanted to point that out to the naysayers out there that says my team live and die with Brady.] (~Mariae and Vince)

Pink Posh Babies: Kaeden Ean

This is to all the Baby Kaeden/Jeri stalkers out there. (You guys do you know that this is MY blog not Jeri's baby blog right?) :oP These are the most recent images of Kaeden and since I'm in Austin I had to swipe the first three pictures from Marie's (different from Mariae) account. She takes awesome baby pics right?)

Enjoy girls :)

12.09.2007: Britt and Kasey's Engagement

So on Saturday, at Keely's shoot- the weather was about 75-80 degrees. Sunday morning, I had an e-session schedule for Kasey and Britt up in Dallas and walked out of the house wearing a tshirt and jeans. For some reason, I decided to bring my "snow" boots. (These are boots I got last winter while stuck in a blizzard (rather three blizzards) in Denver - they're also one size too big since they were the only boots left at the store!) Well, we drove about 40 miles from Austin - stopped to get gas, and the temperature had dropped from a 75 to 49!!! What the beegeezus?? Needless to say, before we got to the actual shoot location, I made my husband stop at a shopping plaza so I can run in and buy a sweater - but boy...it was still cold (40 degrees not counting wind!) And poor Kasey, she showed up in the cutest little black dress and I know she was freezing!!! Britt and Kasey was just so incredible about having their tushies turn to ice - and to top it off - the Cowboys game was going on - and Britt didn't even complain that he had to miss it because of the e-session. We finally did get a little "central heating" in one of the hotel and the manager even let us snag a few shots there :) So, can I say fastest shoot ever? Started at 2. Ended at 3. I had the best spit roast pork ever in town while the Pats/Steelers game was on and we were back home in Austin by 7. :) Britt and Kasey - enjoy the pictures (and central heating). See you guys in March :)
