Pink Posh Kids: Chloe, Sophia and Anna

What better way to spend a Tuesday afternoon then playing dress up and sharing secrets with your sisters at a tea party??!! Well, how about going out to the park and having a serious discussion about whether the floaty thing in the lake is: A) A dead turtle floating upside down. B) A dead fish floating upside down. C) A convenient distraction for not having to get your pictures taken by the lady photographer who's trying really really really hard to get all three girls in one shot?! :) Anyways, I really had such a fun time today with the girls. They reminded me that little girls are not all sugar and spice and everything nice. They're all that with a little bit of naughty to keep you on your toes! :) They laugh loud, can burst into tears at a moment's notice, kiss and makeup in an instant and give you the most sincerest, biggest hug possible. Cindy, I hope I was able to capture a little bit of their vibrant spirit :) P.S. Hi Chloe, Sophia and Anna!!! :)

11.26.2007: Rebecca

Hair: Louis Lopez for the Upper Hand Salon
Makeup: Lisa for the Upper Hand Salon
Today I had the best day in Houston. I headed over to the Upper Hand Salon in River Oaks this morning to get started on my "Pink Posh 2008 Extreme Brides Who Ditched Work to Come Play with Me" marketing campaign (yes, I said plural and yes, I made up that really long campaign name). The Upper Hand was sooo absolutely fantabulous in agreeing to help me out with this!!! (I have been wanting to do this shoot for a year now! And girls...I love love love you girls for helping me on this and getting in that crazy hair and makeup) But.....this blog is not about that part of the shoot. (Can't show it until the end of the year). Instead, after the "EBWDWTCPWM" shoot was over, I had the chance to meet with Rebecca and take some of her headshots and just silly, fun, girly pictures - (which I heart!). So, of course we got right to the "work" portion part of the shoot, and I almost got hit by a bus in the process (thanks a lot Rebecca!) and then we hijacked this nice gentleman's dog (he really didn't want us to borrow his dog, but when I get an idea...). And after all that, the real fun began - and all we needed was a little diet coke in a wine glass :) Rebecca, it was soo much fun playing tonight :) I hope you enjoy the pictures :)
P.S. Rachel, Louis, Lisa, Cathy - thank thank thank you a million times over :) You guys are my hero :)

11.16.2007: Kyle and Keely's Engagement

Congratulations to Kyle and Keely!! I met them back in January of this year and they are officially starting their six months countdown until their wedding day!! They drove up from New Braunsfel for their e-session and I gave them a little tour of South Austin. I think I know as much about South Austin as they did (which is zilch!), so it was a lot of fun exploring the city with them! We started out with a little bit of sushi, found some random furniture sitting on the sidewalk along the way, almost got ran over a few times, and ended with some yummilicious cupcakes! While Kyle and Keely was eating the cupcake, it made me crave for it too (and I don't even eat sweets!) But, I came back after the shoot and got some red velvet cupcakes. (SOOOO TASTY!) Well, since they got a tour of Austin, Keely is going to take me on a tour of New Braunsfel for her bridal session tomorrow! I'm so excited to go to a new area for a shoot!!! Kyle and Keely, thank you for a beautiful, lovely time :) I hoped you enjoyed the shoot (and the pictures) as much as I do!! See you tomorrow Keely! :)

11.10.2007: Jennifer and Robert

Ceremony: Queen of Peace Catholic Church
Venue: The Gardens
On Saturday, while Paul and Marie travelled to Austin for our Austin wedding, I travelled from Austin to Houston for Jennifer and Robert's wedding. I know, our travel logistics is whacked! But, I had to be there at my girl's wedding - she's my Tyra after all :) I first met Jennifer and Robert in June of 2006 - when she told me her wedding date was November 10, 2007 - which happens to fall on my husband's birthday and at our first meeting we totally hit it off! So, I knew I had to be there at her wedding! (By the way, Happy Birthday V.) So after an awesome engagement session, and even awesomER bridal session (which will be up soon), November 10th finally arrived, and we were treated to a beautiful wedding ceremony, and a reception that was almost entirely conducted in Spanish. Good thing I'm fluent. :oP. (I'm not. Brides, that's why it's important that I get a itinerary of the wedding day.) So onto some notables of the day. Me, inspecting everything in Jennifer's house - (She moved into her new home after me, and she is already done decorating!! Jen, you totally lit a fire under my butt which started me doing some home decorating myself when I got back to Austin!) Getting an hour with the couple at the Park for some bride and groom pictures after the ceremony. YAY!!! I can get used to this! You guys know how I love being spoiled like that! Jennifer yelling randomly throughout the night that she's MARRIED!! It was really the cutest thing! Robert being kidnapped then tossed up in the air....this is when you know if your friends like you or not. :oP Jennifer and Robert, congratulations and yay! you're married!!! I hope you're having fun in Cancun! :) (~Mariae and Vince)
